I grew up in a world that taught me survival, not success. In poverty, or in a culture devoid of wealth-building knowledge, the idea of “what you don’t know” becomes your greatest enemy. Knowledge wasn’t just scarce—it was invisible. Even when books like those by Stephen Covey, Robert Kiyosaki, Gino Wickman, and Simon Sinek found their way into my hands, I was ill-equipped to understand their transformative power. I read them, just like many of my friends, not for enlightenment but for ammunition.
